BCS Athletics Update Athletic Department UpdateBlackhawk Christian School has announced a transition in the athletic department. Athletic Director Joel Cotton will be moving into a different role at the school asDirector of Academic Services. He has served as Athletic Director at BCS for the last 10 years. The new Athletic Director will be current BCS high school boys’ basketball coach Matt Roth. Coach Roth will continue to be the boys’ basketball head coach at the school in addition to his new responsibilities. Roth recently completed his fourth basketball season with the Braves. He has been at Blackhawk Christian for seven years total including working at the school as an assistant coach for Marc Davidson from 2013-2016.
Strahm Strong! Congratulations Kinley Strahm! She is 3 time winner of the BCS Spelling Bee and now the Regional Champion! She received $750 to help with travel as she goes to compete in May at the National Spelling Bee in Washington DC. Click for more pictures.

Congratulations Kinley Strahm! You may remember that Kinley Strahm won our school spelling bee for the third year in a row. We have never had a student move past the Regional Online Round which required students to spell 25 words. Kinley spelled 18/25 correctly and is moving on to the in-person Regional Spelling Bee on March 21 at the Allen County Public Library. Congratulations Kinley! We are proud of you!
Sectional Champs! The Boys basketball team beat East Noble 47-45 giving them their 9th Sectional Championship in a row. This is the longest active streak in the state! Regional game is next Saturday at New Castle vs. Delta beginning at 1pm.
