Welcome to BCS! Blackhawk Christian Schools offers preschool (ages 3 and 4), primary school (K and 1st), intermediate school (2nd- 6th), junior high school (7th and 8th), senior high school (9th-12th) programs.
Whether you are a parent, alumni, student or visitor, we want to welcome you to the Blackhawk family. For 50 years, Blackhawk Christian School has been Discipling children in the ways of the Lord and our mission “Preparing Hearts and Minds to Serve Christ” is more important than ever. We achieve this mission through our Core Values of academic excellence, biblical foundation and a Christ centered community. As we raise this generation with a Biblical Worldview we desire a partnership with each family.
In 1973 BCS started with two teachers and 33 students. Today we have over 100 faculty and staff and over 1050 students. We are blessed to have 96% reenrollment and over 90% of our graduates moving on to college. Also, 93% of Blackhawk seniors earn college credit averaging 14 credits by graduation. The faculty are very gifted averaging 15 years of teaching experience. We have been accredited through the Indiana Department of Education and recently became accredited with ACSI and Cognia.
