Steph Gongaware

Hi! My name is Steph Gongaware and I am the 7th, 8th and 9th grade girls Health and P.E. teacher here at Blackhawk Christian School. I am so thankful to be in my 4th year teaching here at BCS, as well as my 3rd year as head coach of the Lady Braves basketball team.   When I am not in the classroom or running practices, I spend all my free time with my family.  I have been married to Tony for 7 years and we have 2 children; Ella (4) who attends preschool at BCS, and Abram (2).  

 

It is a privilege to be a part of a school who values not only education and athletics, but the spiritual growth of their students.  I have played, coached and taught at different schools over the years and I am so thankful the Lord brought us here to Fort Wayne and opened doors to be a part of this community.  It is a joy to teach and coach young women, on the court and in the classroom.
