Mark Harmon, Principal, Secondary School

I began my journey with Blackhawk Christian School in 1985 as a kindergarten student.  My brothers and I attended BCS for all 13 years of our k-12 education.  I returned as the varsity baseball coach in 2004, and we were blessed to win two state championships during my coaching tenure.  I became the principal of the secondary school in 2013 and have loved investing in teachers, students, and families in that role.  I am married to Courtney, who teaches art in the primary school at BCS.  Our three children (Oliver, Charlie, and Rosie) all attend BCS.  It is truly a family affair!

 

As an alumnus (class of '98), parent, and principal, I have the privilege of viewing BCS from many perspectives.  There is no doubt in my mind that God has blessed our school, and I believe He will continue to do so, so long as we seek his will for BCS.  I am humbled to be a part of what God is doing in our community.
