Mrs. Erica Sefton

Hello! What an amazing calling it is to teach at Blackhawk Christian School! This is my 11th year at BCS teaching art. I am married to my college sweetheart and love of my life, Jay Sefton. He teaches Government and Econ, Personal Finance and Digital Citizenship at BCS high school. We are blessed with 4 beautiful children Gage, Bryce, Drake and Ciera. We believe we are a family on mission, serving under the calling God has placed on our hearts to teach at Blackhawk Christian School. One of my favorite verses I use often in my art classes is Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

 

A little bit about me...:) I love people and I love every minute I can get with family and friends! I love being in the big, beautiful world God created for us adventuring with my family, because God is the most amazing artist! I also enjoy studying God's word, mural hunting, taking pictures, crafting/creating art, reading, walks with my husband, jeep rides, lake life, live music, sunsets, bonfires, and patio nights under string lights. Our family is very active in sports, my husband and I met at Bethel University where I played volleyball, he played basketball and we both studied education. Our kids now keep us busy chasing them around rooting them on in various sports and activities. We are humbled and blessed to be part of the BCS family with you!:)
