Mrs. Hines, Title 1 Tutor

Hello!  For the past 18 years my family and I have been blessed by Blackhawk Christian School.  I began teaching at BCS in 2006 in the first grade and finished teaching in the second grade in 2011. At that time our daughter was born, and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to stay at home with my children while they were young. I am married to my best friend and partner in parenting, Dan Hines.  We have 2 children who attend BCS, Charlotte in the 7th grade this year and Grant in the 3rd grade. We attend Blackhawk Ministries and have the pleasure of serving in the 1st and 2nd grade Sunday school class.

 

In 2022 I returned to BCS through Fort Wayne Community Schools as a non-public Title 1 Tutor for the Primary School ages K-1.  I love the small group atmosphere that tutoring allows. I tutor in Reading and Math working part-time each day throughout the week.  

 

Personally, I enjoy playing word games, eating Italian food, and spending time with family at home and on vacation.  I frequent garage sales, love children's literature, and savor a good cup of coffee!

 

My relationship with Jesus is central in my life, in our marriage, and in the way we parent our children. The Lord became my savior at the age of seven.  I love to see our students find Jesus at an early age too!

 

I am grateful for the wonderful team I work with at Blackhawk.  I hope you too will find a warm and encouraging atmosphere at BCS!
