What an opportunity to be back at BCS! Having personally graduated from Blackhawk and having my own children do the same, I know the lasting spiritual impact this school has on the lives of the students. It was during my time at Blackhawk that I gave my life over to Christ, was discipled, understood service, and made lifelong decisions of how and where to follow Christ. It was the teachers that cared about my walk with Christ that made this place different. I want to do and be the same! This really is a blessed place that shapes the mind, and more importantly, the heart.

I have been teaching and working with students for almost 30 years in both the church and education environments. Helping students understand and apply the truths of God’s Word is my passion. It is my goal as a chaplain and teacher at BCS, to help students know, show, and own their faith.

I have been married to my wife Brenda for over 30 years. We love to travel and go on outdoor adventures, but sometimes have to settle for walks around the neighborhood. We have four incredible children (Sydney, Isaac, Ethan, and Micah), who all at some time, attended, and two even graduated from BCS! We have spent many family vacations camping and backpacking, and developing an appreciation for God’s creation.

I can’t wait to see what God continues to do at BCS!
