Mandy Barnhart
Hi! My name is Mandy Barnhart and I am honored to serve as Blackhawks Primary and Preschool, Administrative Assistant. I am married to my husband, Rhys Sr., and we have an amazing and joyful son, Rhys Jr. I have a testimony that I love to share, and I am very grateful for a beautiful family testimony of coming to the Lord with my husband. I graduated from BCS in 2005 and while I did not expect to be back here working, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity that I have to serve and watch our students grow, and there is nothing better than watching their hearts build a relationship with and desire the Lord. My hope is to always be able to spread joy and be glad with anyone that comes into our building, and in times where comfort is necessary, I am blessed to be able to love the students and their families well.
When I am not at school, you can find me...At festivals with my family, traveling to Disney, Colts games, visiting different MLB parks, Tincaps games, walking and hiking different parks, and enjoying local things in Fort Wayne. Fun Facts: I love cats, I was a 10 year 4-H member, my favorite Disney character is Donald Duck, and I am an advocate for Cerebral Palsy and anyone with special needs.
I pray that we can all love like Jesus and see the beautiful gifts we have been given by God. Thank you for the gift of sharing your students with us. It is a treasure that I carefully, and joyfully hold close to my heart.
