Mark Archer, Security Official

It is an honor to serve BCS to protect our students. I am a Class of 1992 (Salutatorian) BCS alumni, and I also serve as part of the security team for Blackhawk Ministries. I also hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.

I am a USAF Auxiliary veteran, where I served as an Emergency Services and Communications Officer for the 201st FW Composite Squadron and Indiana Wing Group 3, also serving as a Search and Rescue Ground Team Leader. In addition to that, I founded Northeast Indiana Search and Rescue, a specialized missing persons search and rescue team, focusing on missing persons cases involving children and wander-prone individuals (Alzheimer's, Autism).

I have been trained and certified in security/first response and search and rescue by the US Air Force, Project Lifesaver, the NRA and the USCCA. I am also certified by the USCCA as a Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals Firearms Instructor.

Securing our campuses is a calling that I've had for many years, which led me to help found the Brave Patrol volunteer security program. Although my role at BCS is part-time, I work to integrate the BCS Security team with the Brave Patrol volunteers to help provide coverage to many of our BCS functions.

While I'm not serving at BCS, my wife and I run a motion picture production and distribution company, Fearless Features. We produce investigative documentary films with a Christian Worldview.
